POKEMON FAN SITE HISTORY

Pokemon Fan Site all got started on a cold breezy February afternoon. To be exact, it was the 21st of February and it was on the year of 2007. But before we get started with how PFS got created, let's go back to how yy10 found Wetpaint. And here's the story: I was on Yahoo.com searching for "Free website makers" when suddenly, I suddenly came over Wetpaint.com I click on the link there, it lead me to a wiki creating site: Wetpaint. At first glance, it was an amazing free website creator! I was amazed! I saw those wikis that were created.(And please note, at that time, only about 2,000 wikis were created) The wikis were fabulous! So I decided to create my own, that wiki I created was all about me.(And it's private, so I won't show you the link). At first, I didn't know how to edit anything, I didn't even know how to invite people! Wetpaint was very confusing to me at that time. And because of that, I decided to quit Wetpaint and never create a wiki again.
On February 21, 2007, I suddenly had a feeling to create a wiki again. Then I thought of what type of wiki should I create. So I decided to create a Pokemon site. Then I though of the name of the site. I thought of "I luv' Pokemon", "Pokemon Rockstar", "Pokemon Garden", " Pokemon Breeders", "egg Hatching Co. Limited"(I know that this name is really stupid) and at last, "Pokemon Fan Site". So I chose "Pokemon Fan Site". A while after I create the site, I edited the homepage, here is how the first homepage ever on PFS looked:

Yeah, I know it looks stupid. I got the spelling wrong, and it's too short anyway. Compared to the current homepage, the old one sucks right? Anyway, I eventually knew the basics of creating a Wetpaint wiki. That was how PFS was formed. And on the same day PFS was created, I also invited my dear buddy !tom! to join. Oh! And I forgot. !tom! was actually the person who figured out Wetpaint, not me. He was really clever for a Wetpaint beginner. Anyway, PFS most famous thing: "The Creation Center" was actually an idea from me. I was a fan of creating Pokemon things, so I decided to let other people do the same too. So the first Creation Center I ever made was Create your own Pokemon. It was a great idea but no one participated. No one even knew that our site existed. So I decided to do some advertising. I advertised on some of my Wetpaint friends site, but sadly, also no one knew that my friends' sites existed. So activity and visits on PFS at that time was a really bad. But a year later, we finally got a few members, and they all became active!! I was so happy by that time so I worked very hard for the site. And now at 2009, we're already a very very successful Pokemon site!

this is an awesome pokemon site. please also go to my pokemon website and leave a comment or go to the forums. It isnt quite finished yet but its an A okay website. http://pokemonchamps.weebly.com
