But I think the best thing is the WiFi multi-player.(Well, not really) With that, you can connect to the free service and to get your friend code. And once you've got your friend code, you can share it with a friend, and get his/her and you can now go visit is own town by WiFi. The game can make it up to four people in a town playing together.
