You want to learn how to write a battle eh? Well, here's how to write a perfect Pokemon battle!



What are Pokemon Battles?
If you don't even know what a Pokemon battle is, so how can you write any of them?! So that's why have to tell you what a Pokemon battle is first.
Pokemon battles are when you take two or above Pokemon to battle* each other.

1. Choosing the right Pokemon
Choosing the right Pokemon for a battle is really important. But it can be easily done. For an example, you can't just put Deoxys VS Jigglypuff in a battle right? The reader will surely know who is going to win! So that's why choosing the right Pokemon for a battle is really important. All the Pokemon in your battle should have equal stats. For an example, Eevee VS Pikachu would be a very good battle. Why? Because both the Pokemon are equal in their stats!
So once you have chosen what Pokemon you want in your battle, let's go to the next part.

2. Choose your commenters & referee
This is the easiest part of all battle writing. Just choose who you want to be your commenters and referee. You know, you can just choose random names in this part. But please note that a Pokemon cannot be a commenter or referee. But instead a character in the episode series can. And also remember, there can only be one referee in each battle. So once you got that, let's move to the most important part of all.

3. Starting your battle
This is the most important part of all. Starting your battle. If you don't start your battle nicely, then no one will want to read it. So anyway, you should start off with one of your commentors saying something like "Welcome to my battle!!" It should be something similar to that. Then, you should have your commentors chat a little bit with each other. That will make your readers get the mood in reading the battle. Then, you should have your commentors introduce your referee. After that, you should introduce what Pokemon is gonna be in the battle. Then your battle will start when your referee calls out something like "READY SET BATTLE!!" or "LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!!" So that's how to start a good battle.

4. Time for the action!!
This is the funnest part of writing a battle!! After all your announcements and chats, finally your battle begins!!!!!!! Now, read carefully because this is really important. So you should start by having your Pokemon fighting relaxed, then start to get into the real action. You could also do some special effects. For an example, in the middle of the battle you could write something like "OH NO! LOOKS LIKE A VOLCANO HAS JUST ERUPTED!!!" Although having a volcano erupt is really stupid but it will also attract more people to continue to read it. A good battle shouldn't only contain action, it should also contain some special effects. You could do tornados, or you could say a meteor just hit the earth. Whatever. As long as it isn't too stupid, it should be okay to me. But please note that you can't rush through a battle. For an example, you can't say something like "MY MUM'S CALLING ME! SEEMS LIKE WE HAVE TO CANCEL THE BATTLE!" NO!!! That is one of the most stupid things I have ever heard. A good battle should be long and exciting. That's why you can't rush through a battle. It will ruin all the excitement!!

5. Conclusion
So once you think the battle is long enough, you should start your conclusion. You should make your referee say something like "1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8...9...10! ____ WINS!!!" That's a perfect conclusion. A perfect conclusion should also contain some crowd cheers. For an example, once the battle had ended, you could make your crowd say something like "YAYAYAYAYAAA!" That would be an exciting ending. And again, you shouldn't rush through an ending. For an example, you can't say something like "BYE!! SEE YOU AGAIN SOON!" That is again one of the most stupid things I have ever heard. You should go something like "WHAT AN EXCITING BATTLE!! AND FOR MORE STAY TUNED TO POKEMON FAN SITE!!" It should be at least something like that. I mean who likes a battle with a dreadful ending?

ya but what if the jigglypuff is level 100 and deoxys is level 1
